Public School Segregation: OK if you're not white
Virginia Tech University agreed to created sex segregated classes to appease visiting Muslims faculty from Saudi Arabia. The Saudis bribed Virginia Tech $246,000 to violate the law. If a group of white male students did this, it would have never been. Those white guys would have been instantly thrown out for racism.

I must not have explained myself properply. I am a 2nd generation American who is white, female of european descent. The first time I got labelled and accussed of being a racist (1)I returned a form to the wrong black clerk. She responsed, "because all you white people think we all look the same". (2) i'm white, but i'm jewish, which means i'm white with a problem. For the WORLD Literature clas we were supposed to read geneis and the koran. I refused both and said, this is the not forum to treat the bible and koran as literatue. I refused to read those parts, and so had to read KARL MARX and write a papper. Well the paper annoyed the teacher to, because I did a very neutral, non-opnioninated review of Karl Marx. The instructor got even more annonyed because she now wants' to know my personal opionion on it. I told here that having one is not part of the class thus it doesns't matter what my opionion is.
I misread Pam's reply. I was blinded by my past experiences which, as you can see, evoke strong feelings in me. I grew up in East New York, Brooklyn, which changed drasticly during the 60's and 70's. By 5th grade, I was the only white kid in the the school and was the victim of racism. When I went to junior high, I experienced a new kind of racism, from a few white students who hated jews.
